Conference made in Potsdam, Germany, between July 17 and August 2, 1945, between representatives of the U.S., UK and USSR. Aí estabeleceram os princípios político-económicos que regeriam o tratamento da Alemanha no período inicial de controlo dos Aliados após o final da Segunda Grande Guerra, e enviaram um ultimato ao Japão exigindo a sua rendição incondicional, sob pena de completa destruição. It established the political and economic principles that governed the treatment of Germany in the initial period of control of the Allies after the end of the Second World War, and sent an ultimatum to Japan demanding their unconditional surrender, under threat of complete destruction.
